Project Overview
GGP Consult were engaged to support a Planning Application and its early concept development to enable the developer to achieve project funding.
Once funding was approved, GGP were appointed by CLS(Civil Contractor) to act as civil and structural engineer for the Anaerobic Digestion Facility, capable of processing up to 75,000 tonnes of food waste per year, generating 7500kW electricity and 1,200m3/hr biomethane grid injection, 6km away into a 42bar LTS gas main.
GGP were engaged by Brigg Lane Biogas Ltd(Privilege Finance) to provide further supporting roles including planning support to assist 6km pipeline and remote injection compound and project management duties design, procurement and contract management of liquid food waste transfer pipeline from the adjoining depacking facility to the AD storage tanks.
